Yaw Anokwa is an computer scientist best known as a co-founder of ODK, an open-source mobile data collection platform.

Education[edit]

Anokwa received a Ph.D. in Computer Science from University of Washington. He has authored highly cited academic work in the use of technology for global health and international development.[1]

Awards and honors[edit]

Anokwa was awarded The Antonio Pizzigati Prize for Software in the Public Interest in 2010[2] and the UW CSE Alumni Impact Award in 2018[3] for his work on ODK.
