'Weldon Hastings'(born September 7, 1982) is an American linesman with a distinguished career in the NCAA Hockey League. Hastings has had been entrusted to officiate in the last few years across several divisions, including the United Collegiate Hockey Conference for both men and women, and the Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference and New England Hockey Conference Women’s leagues. His experience extends beyond the collegiate level, as having also served as both referee and linesman in the United States Premier Hockey League’s Great Lakes and Midwest Divisions, including playoff semifinals and finals. Weldon's tenure with the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) since 2000 has seen him selected for prestigious assignments such as the ACHA Nationals and the CHE Final in 2023, contributing to over 120 career games officiated.
Hastings having a longstanding relationship with the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA); having officiated over 500 games and been chosen for critical sectional and district finals. His journey with USA Hockey since 1998 has been multifaceted, involving roles from officiating at various levels to being a playdowns finalist and an off-ice official with the American Hockey League (AHL). As an instructor, he have shared his expertise at USA Hockey Officiating seminars and contributed as an IT Coordinator for national playdowns, enhancing tournament operations.
