Veaux’s Law states that, “If your zeal for justice exceeds your interest in establishing the facts, then what you want isn't justice: it's to use the idea of justice as one more weapon to benefit your own tribe at the expense of others”.
"Veaux's Law" was first mentioned in the comment section of Franklin Veaux's answer to the Quora question "What is your "hot take" on any topic?". The comment was, "If I might be permitted to try to sharpen up the phrasing a little:

- reliable
- secondary
- independent of the subject
Make sure you add references that meet these criteria before resubmitting. Learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue. If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.
