Vassilis Kimoulis is a Greek writer, translator, publishing editor and communication consultant.

Short Biography[edit]

He was born in Athens. He studied Ancient Greek Philology and Linguistics at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Since 1990, he has dedicated much of his career to the publishing industry, as a communications consultant, translator, editor, collaborating with various publishing houses (from 1997 to 2011, at Oceanida Publications) and authors, in publicity projects for their work in the printed and electronic press, and in the organization of events.

He collaborated with the Hellenic Foundation for Culture at the Thessaloniki International Book Fair (as Publicity, Promotion and Communications Manager at the 15th TIBF, and as Cultural Programme Organizer at the 16th and 17th TIBF), as well as Communications and Promotion Manager of the Greek participation at the 70th and 71st Frankfurt Book Fair. Also, since 2022 he has collaborated with the Chania Book Festival as Head of Communications and Press Office. Since 2023 he has been working with the Directorate of Letters of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture as Head of Communication of the Greek participation in the international book fairs.
