Tobias Bruce Emmitt (born 13th September 2005) is a British filmmaker and former professional wrestler.[1]
While living in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, Emmitt was active in the British independent wrestling scene from early 2022 to mid 2023. In January 2024, Emmitt competed at a white collar boxing event in Grimsby, winning my unanimous decision.
Filmmaking Career[edit]
Emmitt made his acting debut in the education short interactive film Ryan's Story (2021)[2]playing supporting antagonist Charlie.
Between 2021-2022 Emmitt directed and acted in the comedy stunt film Toby Emmitt: The Movie, the film was half completed. The remaining footage was released in Emmitt's documentary debut in The Lost Tapes Of Toby Emmitt: The Movie (2022). In 2023, he made his feature film debut with the stunt comedy film The New Stunts Of Toby Emmitt (2023), which was released theatrically in November of that year.[3] On 22nd March 2024, he announced that to celebrate a year of filming one of the scenes from the movie, the roof jump, Emmitt would release an extended cut, with unseen raw unreleased footage. On 28th the same month, it was released on YouTube.
In January 2024, Emmitt announced on Instagram his next project would be a feature length sports documentary surrounding around his white collar boxing bout that March, with Ultra Events, which he later won. The film was named 'Ultra: A Boxing Story'. Shortly after, it was announced the documentary would be released in May of that year and be released theatrically, just like his previous film.
