With these leaderboards they have rules and qualifications to follow in order to even be shown in these leaderboards. TSSBCI has a leaderboard for all the steel that has been completed by over 100 people. The qualification process is to bend the bars in under 60 seconds to a distance of 2″ from end-to-end with a maximum of two layers of hand wraps on each end. The use of your body or any other surface is prohibited. Each length and diameter are considered it own group in the leaderboard.

Impact on Steel Bending Community[edit]

The company goal was to attract more people into the niche sport of steel bar bending by using it social media account and book that the founder has written "K-S-C". A book that helps give a introduction on how to bend these steel bars. The company also uses a progressive system that uses poundage to describe how much weight is used to bend the bar. Which is used to help individuals who have never competed or attempted steel bending as a method to understand how much force and intensity that is required to bend the steel bars. <ref?Spy https://spy.com/articles/health-wellness/fitness/short-steel-bending-1202944869/.
