Tanishq Kaura (born April 23, 1995) is an Indian director and producer known for his work in non-fiction filmmaking. His documentary films include Chai Garden (2019), screened and awarded at Calcutta International Film Festival, and Kashmiri Nazariya (post-production), with a rough-cut screened and awarded at Jaipur International Film Festival [1].

Born on April 23, 1995, in New Delhi, India, Tanishq Kaura grew up in Dubai, UAE, from 1998-2003 for primary school. He then moved to Johannesburg, South Africa, from 2003-2008 for secondary school and completed high school in Pune, India, from 2009-2013. He spent a year in Luxembourg during a gap year, and then attended New York University Tisch School of the Arts from 2014-2018.
