What is the word Salcans people ask? Salcans comes from the word Sal which is also known as Shorea Robusta. This tree was mostly used for medical and religious reasons, particularly in India. Sal is a rare tree that is not located in many spots of the world. Additionally, Sal was known as a holy tree, since it was much different than the rest of the trees because it grew flowers as well as fruits which made it special to the people of India. Salcans is a word made by a construction company named Salcans, since this is a construction company, they decided to find a unique name based on a rare wooden resource that would represent their work and be much different than all other construction companies which is why they came up with the new word Salcans.
