Benjamin Roca[1] known professionally as ProleteR, is a musician based in Toulouse, France. His music combines hiphop and jazz with samples from movies and older songs.[2] He debuted with his extended play Curses from past times, and has since released 4 more EPs, a full sized album, and multiple singles. In 2018 he released a remastered version his debut album. He has also released volumes in a series called "Tribute to the Masters", where he samples voice clips from classic musicians such as Frank Sinatra, and Louis Armstrong. His most popular song is April Showers, the opening song in Curses from Past Times, and was well received online. [3]
