Draft:Peter Abbott OBE
Submission declined on 24 December 2023 by DoubleGrazing (talk). This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). Before any resubmission, additional references meeting these criteria should be added (see technical help and learn about mistakes to avoid when addressing this issue). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

- Comment: Per WP:TITLESINTITLES, the 'OBE' needs to be dropped if/when this is accepted. Peter Abbott already exists, so would need dabbing, eg. 'Peter Abbott (diplomat)'. DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:09, 24 December 2023 (UTC)
- Comment: Primary sources do not establish notability per WP:GNG, neither do articles authored by the subject. If you wish to use the items listed under 'News articles' (?) as references, you need to cite them in the usual manner; otherwise it's unclear what they're there for.
