Located at the heart of the Mirsarai area in Chittagong, Nizampur Govt College is a popular destination for residents for education. It is only government college in Mirsarai that is affiliated with the National university.[1] This college is renowned for its commitment to academic excellence.

Nizampur Government College is a reputed education institute in the Mirsarai, Chittagong area. The college was established in 1964 by residents concerned about providing higher education opportunities for local students.
The institution is managed by a 15-member Board of Directors, led by Mr. MDM Jalal Uddin Chowdhury. Current principal of Nizampur college is Dr. AKM Shamsuddin Azad.
Infrastructure of College[edit]
The infrastructure of this college is very conventional. It is located on the west side of the Dhaka-Chittagong highway. The main buildings of this college are built on around 300 shotangsho land. There are also excellent walkway facilities for the students. The total area of the Nizampur Govt College campus is around 8.25 acres.
There are a total of 4 buildings in this college with conventional teaching facilities. Moreover, there is a building for the principal's residence and another building for the professor's resident. All the buildings are highly visible from the road. The campus infrastructure is surrounded by green trees.
Faculties and Departments[edit]
Nizampur Govt College provides a wide range of undergraduate courses across various faculties and departments. This college produced outstanding undergraduate course results, earning a good rank among the top institutions in Chittagong.
On the other hand, this college also provides graduate programs. For example, the BA pass course and the Honors course.[2]
