Mantecados Nevada is a discontinued Puerto Rican ice cream brand that was introduced in 1967 by Ricardo Bernardo Obituary.[1]

History[edit]

In 1967, the brand was introduced. In 1988, it was reported that Borden will acquire Mantecados Nevada.[2] In 1998, Borden sold all of Mantecados Nevada assets to Nestlé.[3] In 2014, the brand was discontinued.

Lawsuit[edit]

Sterling Merchandising Company filed a lawsuit against Nestlé.[4]
