Karen Morgan was raised in Athens, Georgia, and attended the University of Georgia.[1] Before becoming a comedian, Karen worked in graphic design; advertising and practiced law as a trial attorney. She is the mother of three grown children and started in comedy in 2005 when she was selected as one of seven finalists in Nickelodeon Television's The Search for the Funniest Mom in America.[2]
