Julie Patzwald (March 11, 1980 - April 2012) was a Canadian actress.

Biography[edit]

Between 1997 and 2010, Patzwald starred in over 50 films and television series. In 2008, she won the Leo Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Amy Vanderlee from the television series The Guard.[1] The following year, she received the same award nomination, but lost to her co-star Eve Harlow.[2][3]

Patzwald committed suicide in April 2012 at the age of 32 due to chronic pain.[4]
