Who is this shareholder?

Jean-Baptiste Dubuc was a planter, barrister, and political leader in Martinique. He was involved in dueling French and English trade and territorial claims.[citation needed] Signed the Whitehall Accord?

His family was involved in the Gaoulé revolt (La Gaoulé) of 1717.[1] He had two brothers who were active in Martinique politics.[2]

His memoir on prohibitive laws on foreign commerce in French colonies was published in 1764, Memoir on the extent and limits on prohibitive laws on foreign commerce in our colonies.[3]
