James Wright (born 14 June 1975) is a Norwich politician who is currently serving as Lord Mayor of Norwich.

Early life[edit]

James Wright was born on 14 June 1975, to Andrew Wright and Caroline Ackroyd. Caroline brought him to his first mayor-making ceremony as a toddler.[1]. He worked as a DJ, and in many technology-related jobs[2]

Politics[edit]

James first became a councilor in 2010[3] and has run as Norwich South MP candidate for the Liberal Democrats[4]. James Wright became Lord Mayor of Norwich in 2023.
