H.B. Augustine (c. 1990) is an American author, philosopher, and entrepreneur.
In 2007, while living in the Himalayan foothills, his worldview shifted. Upon returning, Augustine voraciously consumed literature on the topic of consciousness, in particular, the volumes of Deepak Chopra and Ken Wilber.[1]
Two years later, Augustine founded his first company - Integral Publishing House - which released its first book, The Coming Waves, with Ken Wilber[2]
While attending college, Augustine authored numerous essays influenced by Wilber's Theory of Everything, notably "Integral Ontology" (2009)[3] and "Hindu and Greek Deities" (2010)[4], which became academically cited works. The former piece, inspired by Descartes' Meditations, attempts through thought experimentation to establish the reality and definition of "Spirit," while the latter piece synthesizes Polytheism with Platonism and Depth Psychology.
In 2012, Augustine mysteriously disappeared, and has yet to reappear.
