Grant Jensen is currently the dean of the College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences at Brigham Young University

Jensen graduated from Brigham Young University with a BS in Physics and later earned his PhD in Biophysics at Stanford University.

Before becoming a dean at BYU, he had a career as a Professor of Biology and Biophysics at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) with research focused on three main areas: the ultrastructure of small cells, the structural biology of HIV< and the further development of cryo-EM technology.

He has published approximately 200 papers, most in top journals, with over 14k citation.

In 2020, he came to BYU to lead the College of Computational, Mathematical, and Physical Sciences.
