George L. Ball (born October 8, 1938) is a Director and Executive Co-Chairman of Tectonic Financial and Chairman of Sanders Morris Harris.[1][2][3][4] He has been associated with numerous financial management companies in different senior positions.[5][6]

Career[edit]

Ball joined E.F. Hutton & Co. as a stockbroker.[7][8][9] He became the company's President in 1976.[10][11][12][13]

Ball joined Bache & Company as the CEO of the company in 1982.[14][9][12] He the company when it was called Prudential Bache in 1991.[1][11][9]

He joined Sanders Morris Mundy in 1994 as Chairman and later became CEO.[1][11][9][2][12] He is currently a Director and Executive Co-Chairman of Tectonic Financial and Chairman of Sanders Morris.[15][4]

Associations[edit]

Ball is the former governor of the American Stock Exchange and the Chicago Board Options Exchange. He was as a member of parent Prudential Insurance Company of America.[10][5]
