Francisco R. Adriano Sr. was born June 20, 1913 in Baliwag, Bulacan, Philippines. Adriano attended Philippine Military Academy and graduated first in his class, additionally he received the Presidential saber in 1937 from Manuel L. Quezon. Adriano went on to become a Brigadier General.[1][2][3]
