Abdul Salam Nuhu, born April 14, 1994,[1] and professionally known as Elroy Salam a is a Ghanaian photographer.[2][3][4][5]

Early life[edit]
He had his junior high school education at Most Holy Heart School and later attended St. Augustine's College in Cape Coast for his senior high school education. He attended the University of Ghana and obtained Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology.[1]
Career[edit]
Salam started his career in 2015..[6][7][8] However his most notable highlight came in 2022 when he was selected as part of 9 photographers by the British Council[9] in Accra to participate in the launch of the African Photography Collective[9]
In November 2022, Salam's work on the impact of climate change on mental health was featured on the Voice of America (VOA) Africa TV program Healthy Living.[10]. During an interview with Global Citizen, Elroy described the project as a way to raise awareness on eco-anxiety.[11]
His work was also featured in OkayAfrica's story about Owo Fashion Festival in Accra.[12]
Exhibitions[edit]
Salam was part of 6 artists who exhibited their works during the Spritz on Canvas art exhibition organized by the Italian Business Association of Ghana in Accra in 2021.
Awards and recognitions[edit]
- Nominated for the Most Influential Student Photographer by the Ghana Tertiary Awards in 2016.[13]
