Sserunkuuma Jack Junior (born April 19, 2008), is a Ugandan Hip hop rapper, singer, songwriter, and actor from Kampala, Uganda.[1] Jack Junior goes by the stage name Daje.08 or Daje. He is a member of the hip-hop collective Rappers Bandwagon, with whom he has released one album. On the 17 of January 2024, Daje.08 made his debut in the music industry with the release of his debut album titled 'X'[2] and later that year they released a collaboration album with Webstarz named Dystopian Struggles.

Early Life[edit]

Daje was born in the Lubaga neighborhood of Mengo, his father is Sserunkuuma Jack Kinobe an actor[3] and Minah Mbaziirah Sserunkuuma who lost her life in 2019 after giving birth to his younger sister[4].Daje is a borough of Kampala. His father is from Jinja. He has an older brother and 5 sisters.

Daje started rapping at age 13, when he moved to Kampala, Uganda. He learned how to rap from his older sister. When Daje was 11, he lost his mothers life.[4] Daje grew up admiring American based rap group Migos. He was also influenced by Drake, Travis Scott, 21 Savage, Asap Rocky, Coolio, and Jack Harlow.
