Crismon High School is a public junior high and high school in Queen Creek, Arizona, United States. Opened in 2022,[1] it is the third high school operated by the Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD).

History[edit]

The construction of Crismon High School was outlined in three phases. "Phase One included the administrative offices, the gym, the cafeteria and the auditorium, the first educational building, a grass football field, a baseball and softball field and a parking lot".[3] The final two phases will include additional educational buildings; more parking; volleyball and tennis courts; and new football, softball, and baseball fields.

Ground was broken in September 2021 and the school opened on July 27, 2022. The cafeteria had not been finished when the school opened, so food trucks were brought in until its completion.[3] The school opened with just grades 7-10, but expanded to 11th grade the following year and plans to offer education to grades 7-12 by its third year of operation.

Curriculum[edit]

The Queen Creek Unified School District focuses strongly on a STEM-based curriculum in its schools. Unlike other schools in the district, Crismon High School has a veterinary technology program allowing students hands-on experience working in a vet clinic.[3]
