The Halleyscope Telescope was available during the return of Halley's Comet to the inner Solar System in 1985-1986. It was a "Best Buy" by Consumer Digest Magazine. 8-32 Power, it could be attached to a camera to become a 600-2400 Telephoto Lens.

The Company was started by Burton Rubin. The telescope was designed by Joseph Murray who was a Senior Design Engineer for Polaroid. Articles appeared in Forbes, The New York Times, and other publications. [[
