Boonchu 2 Nong Mai (Thai: บุญชู 2 น้องใหม่) is a 1989 Thai comedy film directed by Bhandit Rittakol and released by Five Star Production. It’s the first sequel of Boonchu.[1]

Summary[edit]

Boonchu failed the entrance exam to go to Kasetsart University so he went back to Suphan Buri. With the help of the head monk in his village, he went back to Bangkok to prepare for the next exam. He meets Molee and helps her with his friends in finding sponsors for her volunteer activities project. However the money that she saved got stolen. Eventually they found out that Boonma stole it. When they caught him, Boonma told them that he stole the money to support and feed his family which gained their sympathy and apologized to them. After this. Boonchu had learned he didn’t pass the exam and returned to Suphan Buri with her mom to take care of her. Later, Boonchu returned to Bangkok and learned that he got promoted to the Faculty of Agriculture in Kasetsart University and stays in Bangkok with his friends and his girlfriend Molee.
