Atlas Search is an executive recruiting firm founded in 2015, based in New York City and Cranford, New Jersey.[1][2] It is among the largest executive recruiting firms in the New York Metropolitan area.[3]

The firm provides contingency, retained and staffing services for a number of divisions, including Accounting, Finance, Front Office, Middle Office, Information Technology, Healthcare, Clinical Research, Legal, Office Support and Human Resources.[4]

History[edit]

Atlas Search was founded by partners Peter Riccio, Scott Stenzler and Robert Parks.[5] The firm launched in New York City in 2015 with six employees and a primary focus on Accounting & Finance.

Following the success of its Office Support and Human Resources division, the firm enlisted Bryant Vargas to establish its Information Technology services in 2017.[5]

In 2018, Heather Cianchetti joined to oversee the company's Temporary Staffing.[6] Founding partner Peter Riccio invested in technology and automation by developing a proprietary recruitment platform "for our recruiters to achieve unprecedented sales volume," says Riccio. He added, "it’s no coincidence that we have the highest billing recruiters in the industry.”[6]

In 2022, Atlas Search expanded with an office in Cranford, New Jersey.[1]

In 2023, the firm pushed into the Hedge Fund space by adding its Front Office division, with Anthony Rodriguez at the helm. That same year also saw the launch of its Legal division, while Laura Gutierrez and her team of three joined to head the firm's Family Office and Tax vertical.[7]

In December 2023, Atlas Search was named the 3rd Largest Executive-Recruiting Firm in the New York-area, previously ranking at number four in 2022.[3][8]
