Allied Vision Technologies GmbH, now known as Allied Vision, was founded in Ahrensburg, Germany, in 1989. Allied Vision specializes in developing and manufacturing industrial cameras, positioning itself as one of the leading camera manufacturers worldwide in the machine vision market[1]. The CEO is Robert Franz [2].

The product range includes 2D, 3D[3], and SWIR [4][5]camera technology, offering image capture solutions for factory automation, logistics, medical, scientific research, robotics, agriculture, semiconductors and various other vision applications.

The company has offices in Germany, Canada, the United States, Singapore, and China, and is represented by a network of sales partners in over 30 countries[6].

In 2016, Allied Vision was acquired by TKH Group. Alongside Allied Vision, SVS-Vistek, Euresys, Chromasens, LMI Technologies, NET GmbH, and Tattile, they formed the TKH Vision Group[7].
