Local elections are scheduled to be held in Makati on May 12, 2025, as part of the 2025 Philippine general election. The electorate will elect a mayor, a vice mayor, eight members of the Makati City Council, and two district representatives to the House of Representatives of the Philippines.
This will be the first general (nationwide and local) elections, in which the residents of Embo barangays will not participate in this election as a result of the Makati–Taguig boundary dispute ruling.
Mayoral election[edit]
The incumbent mayor is Abigail Binay, who was re-elected for her third term in 2022, and is ineligible for reelection.
