Richard Pilling (11 August 1855 – 28 March 1891) was an English professional cricketer who played for Lancashire County Cricket Club. He played eight Test matches for the England cricket team.[1]
Life[edit]
Pilling was born in August 1855 at Old Warden in Bedfordshire. He died aged 35 on 28 March 1891 from Tuberculosis.[2][3][4]
Cricket[edit]
Pilling was a wicket-keeper who played 8 times for the England cricket team.[5] He was one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 1891.
