Changiz Qaleh (Persian: چنگيزقلعه), also Romanized as Changīz Qal‘eh,[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Howmeh Rural District of the Central District of Bijar County, Kurdistan province, Iran.[4] The village is populated by Kurds.[5]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 123 in 35 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 186 people in 58 households.[7] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 228 people in 76 households.[2]
