We don't remove people from these categories once they cease to serve. It's not a category of current UKIP MEPs, it's a category of anyone who has ever been a UKIP MEP. Good Ol’factory (talk) 02:07, 6 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps a sub category such as:
Category:MEPs who left the UK Independence Party while in office or
Category talk:UK Independence Party MEPs who became independents of adopted other political affiliations might be appropriate.
The long list or relevant people could include: Tim Aker (took additional affiliation), Marta Andreasen, Jonathan Arnott, Janice Atkinson (sacked), Amjad Bashir, Godfrey Bloom??, David Campbell Bannerman, James Carver, Robert Kilroy-Silk, Ashley Mote, Mike Nattrass, Nikki Sinclaire, and Steven Woolfe.
