Category versus list[edit]
There are lots of problems with List of SOA related products. Rather than fix these problems in the list, I prefer to create a category which can be kept up-to-date more easily. --RichardVeryard 12:21, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Notability[edit]
Some of the articles in this category have been challenged for notability, and some haven't. While I understand the importance of notability, I also think it is important to be fair between competing vendors. If we delete all the small vendors then the category will be dominated by the large vendors, which would be unfair and misleading. --RichardVeryard 12:21, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
I created this category as a subcategory of Category:Software. Someone just removed this without explanation. I certainly think it needs a link to this category, but perhaps to one of its subcategories, so I have added it to Category:Software systems instead. --RichardVeryard 19:15, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
