Not Showing Up[edit]

Why is the template not showing up on User talk:174.3.111.148/Featured articles may have problems? The category should be shown.174.3.111.148 (talk) 19:10, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It's a hidden category, and the template you're using doesn't do anything but add the category. Nifboy (talk) 20:36, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It also adds a notice in user space, I just tweaked it so that it also shows the notice in user talk space. Cenarium (forever) 22:42, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Deprecated[edit]

To editor Wbm1058: This revert puzzles me. The {{Move draft}} template doesn't appear to populate this cat, anymore. It is noted as deprecated and the cat links have leading colons. I should have reworded this when I made that edit so as not to mislead, but isn't using the Move draft template just as misleading? – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 15:35, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I hadn't noticed that the last edit to {{Move draft}} added the leading colons. So, now nothing populates the cat, short of someone manually adding it to a page, and that's why it's always empty. I just tagged both the template and the cat with {{historical}}. Perhaps they both should be deleted, but maybe we can keep them around a bit longer, until all the changes associated with introduction of the new WP:drafts sort themselves out. Thank you, Wbm1058, that's much better! Joys! – Paine Ellsworth CLIMAX! 17:12, 5 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]
