Untitled[edit]

I have to say that I am totally against these categories by council area, partly because they are not used colloquially, and also because "Highland" council area both excludes the south west Highlands, and includes areas such as East Caithness which are not Highland at all. I think the fact that the boundaries have changed so often makes such usage highly confusing, and many of the people in this category, e.g. Martin Martin, died long before "Highland" region came along. --MacRusgail 17:51, 26 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
