There appears to be a long running problem of bands being deleted and re-added to this page. The latest one I've clocked is Soilent Green. This band has been sourced, in this case to Mudrian's 'Choosing Death'. Do not delete it again without coming up with a very good, and citable, source. I don't get why Deathgrind bands are here when it has its own Category? Inhumer (talk) 05:21, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

For the sake of inclusivity. There's no need for bands to exlusively exist within one category and I believe that the categories of grindcore and deathgrind are sufficiently similar that unless deathgrind bands are allowed to exist in both we'll all spend the rest of our days disagreeing over endless bands' specific subgenre. People waste so much of their time on this kind of thing already when we could be genuinely improving Wikipedia. Much of this time is wasted because people don't back up their decisions with sources... I can find you sources for all the deathgrind bands on the list citing that they are also grindcore. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 02:32, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Then why not get rid of the Deathgrind category.Inhumer (talk) 02:58, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

This Perverse desecration[edit]

alot of these bands arent grindcore at all. all jazzy techy shit someone needs to delete alot of it ghengis tron is not grindcore for a fact. nor is skinless. especially not dillenger escape plan

Your opinion on the matter is irrelevant. What is relevant is whether these bands are referenced as being 'grindcore' by a reliable source. If you delete anything from the list contravening a previously sourced band you will be banned for vandalism. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 13:49, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and please sign your posts. Blackmetalbaz (talk) 13:53, 7 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In Myspace there are a lot of grindcore bands undiscovered in Wikipedia —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.126.135.28 (talk) 21:24, 17 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

THESE BANDS ARE NOT GRINDCORE: Genghis Tron , Hewhocorrupts , Japanische Kampfhörspiele, The Locust, Lärm, Seven Minutes of Nausea. so quit being a fucking poser. and delete that shit from there. and make so we can add real grind bands not false shit

Move?[edit]

You know how a lot of the band sorting by genre categories are phrased "________ musical groups"? This is something of a deviation from that rule. I can't move it myself because the move tab isn't in the mainspace, but can this category be moved to "category:grindcore musical groups" for the sake of consistency?
