Untitled[edit]

people on welfare are eating shrimp and steak are you? where are our tax dollars going? I dont mind, as you giving to those without, what is needed to survive, but when I have to eat tune fish or pasta 6 days a week and chicken the 7th why shouldn't they. I am tired of my money going to people who abuse the system and worse yet don't know how to shop with the money/ food stamps that welfare provides them. I was in line today at a grocery store in Watertown NY and watched a person who is known in my town. He is a welfare client who taxes, utiilities and mortgage are paid by DSS and he filled his cart with shrimp and steak. Then he went to the liquor store in the same plaza and bought 2 quarts of booze. As my curiosity got the best of me,I followed him to a store on Paddy Hill where he bought beer. This person has a motorcycle and seems to have no disability. I feel like I am the disabled one as I am at a disadvantage and can't afford to pay for a quarter of what I just saw him purchase. I am sure he goes to local food banks and milks them as well. I am also sure this is not an isolated incident for the area. With the modern technology (scanners can tell what we purchase) why can't we prevent this continual abuse?
