Adding a Road[edit]

i'm trying to add an FM road but it wont let me add it to the list. it is FM 1942 in north-eastern harris county, if anyone wants to give me a hand.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Derek840378 (talkcontribs)

Just add the category to the bottom of the FM 1942 article. It will automatically be added to the list here. --Holderca1 22:04, 15 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
as far as i can tell, there is no fm 1942 article.Derek840378 00:29, 16 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Then you can't add it to a category, you are confusing this with a list, which is just a list of everything in a topic whether it has an article or not, categories are a list of everything in a topic that has an article. --Holderca1 11:58, 18 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
ok, i understand now. the category is a "list" of all the available articles. correct?Derek840378 04:45, 19 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
That is correct, you just add the category to the bottom of the article and it will automatically be placed on the category page. --Holderca1 15:46, 19 December 2006 (UTC).[reply]
