Categories[edit]

There is currently no category ‘Civil War battlefields’. There are ‘Battlefields of the Eastern Theater of the American Civil War’ and ‘Battlefields of the Western Theater of the American Civil War’. This demarcation seems redundant. Visitors to these pages are likely to be planning a visit, and I think the listings should be divided into:

Battlefield trail

Battlefield trail and visitor centre

Battlefield trail, visitor centre and escorted tours

Battlefield trail, visitor centre and escorted tours (seasonal)

Battlefield trail, visitor centre with licensed catering
