Proper place for tag[edit]

Naruto's main article page mentions the OVAs, but there is a separate article concerning only the OVAs. When trying to decide where to palce the "Anime OVAs" category tag , I wasn't sure: Where should the "Anime OVAs" category tag be placed?

  • On all specific OVA artcile pages?
  • On the main article page?
  • On either, but just once per title?

I wonder if there is a convention on the practice, or if there should be, such as Place the tag only once per title, on the most specific article that allows accessing or linking to any OVAs in that series." I ask, because some list the category directly on the main page, but not on the actual OVA article page, but others do it conversely, which I found a bit confusing. If you want to better understand the inconsistencies, navigate to a couple of the items in the category list to see what I mean.

Any thoughts on the subject would be appreciated. --Byakuren 14:43, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Currently, the tag is running on auto-add mode. Which means that it's being added automatically anything someone uses the OVA infobox. Technically I suppose it should only be added for the specific OVA article, but at this point in time double adds are ok. Don't do it unless use of infboxes forces you to though. I guess technically the OVA infobox shouldn't even be used on the main page if it's used on an OVA page. Need to start standardizing Infobox use it seems.--SeizureDog 21:20, 9 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
