Kinda hate to admit it, but as a fisherman, I have to agree with you. I think it's perfectly OK to have a substantial, meaningful section dedicated to Tarpon angling (as the vast majority of interest in the species comes from their status as a premier sportfish), however, the entire article is way overweight with unencyclopedic Fishing anecdote and equally light on scientific data on the species itself, which an article of this importance really should have. --LoverOfArt (talk) 12:42, 13 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
