Note: The scene pictured in this photograph does not depict Crockett addressing the U.S. Congress, but in this instance he is addressing the town of Philadelphia on a publicity/goodwill tour. It is here that he is presented with the rifle he named "Betsy" which he uses as the Alamo. Ok, I know where the confusion came from. This is the publicity shot used for the TV special "Davey Crockett Goes to Congress" and the still on Columbia Record set C-517 for the story/soundtrack, but the above information is correct. 78.26 (I'm no IP, talk to me!) 21:28, 9 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]
