On the map, there's a blank spot and a lack of localization of NA tribes in the Ohio section of the Northeast region. I suspect the map's author didn't find anything in Ohio, but several American Indian tribes lived there like the Miami, Scioto and Elk Indians down to West Virginia. The map was accurate 500 years ago when the first European discovery and contact with the tribes began, and the missionaires collected data and kept tribal historical records of indigenous peoples at the time. + 71.102.11.193 (talk) 10:06, 9 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
