There might be a typo in the German caption, it says 6000 prisoners were released. It seems a bit much considering the camp had been created that year and the wiki page (by all means not an authoritative source) states that the initial capacity was 5000 prisoners. This related image that only states that 600 prisoners were pardoned that Christmas would indicate that a 0 too much got copied.

If anyone has info on this 1933 Christmas pardon at Dachau we can fix the caption of the image with the typo, whichever it is.--Stor stark7 Speak 09:31, 12 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]
