English: These images have been selected from a recent accession following the closure of Phillipstown Primary School, Christchurch. Phillipstown School was a state co-educational full primary school located in the Christchurch suburb of Phillipstown. It was founded in 1877 and operated until it was closed following post-earthquake restructure in February 2015.
These photographs are part of a large collection of photographs received from the school, and show various school events.
This image of the Phillipstown School Centenary was taken in front of the Phillipstown School building in 1977 shortly before it was demolished to make way for a new building.
