Русский: Венский университет, основанный герцогом Австрии Рудольфом IV в 1365 г., является старейшим университетом в немецкоязычном мире. Как и в других европейских университетах, основным языком получения образования был латинский. Автором этого обращения на латинском языке является Петрус Мучич, классический филолог и теолог, дважды служивший ректором университета, в 1577–1578 гг. и снова в 1578 году. В своем обращении Петрус приглашает студентов продолжить обучение по окончании эпидемии чумы 1578 г. в Вене. Напечатанный в форме плаката, документ содержит одно из старейших сохранившихся расписаний лекций университета с перечислением курсов лекций на теологическом, медицинском и юридическом факультетах, на факультете свободных искусств, философии и языков, с указанием курсов отдельно для студентов, обучающихся по программе бакалавров и магистров, а также совместных лекций.

Il s'agit de la plus ancienne université du monde germanophone. Comme c'était le cas dans d'autres universités européennes, la langue d'enseignement principale était le latin. Cette proclamation en latin fut écrite par Petrus Muchitsch, philologue et théologien ayant exercé deux fois le poste de président de l'université, entre 1577 et 1578, puis à nouveau en 1578. Dans ce message d'accueil, Petrus invite les étudiants à reprendre leurs études après la fin de l'épidémie de peste de 1578 de Vienne. Imprimé sous forme de placard, le document comprend l'un des plus anciens calendriers de cours magistraux d'université encore existant, énumérant les cours de la faculté de théologie, de la faculté de médecine, de la faculté de droit, de la faculté d'arts libéraux, de philosophie et de langues. Il indique également quels cours étaient destinés aux étudiants de licence et aux étudiants de maîtrise de manière séparée et quels cours magistraux étaient communs.

In this greeting, Petrus invites the students of the university to resume their studies following the end of the 1578 epidemic of plague in Vienna. Printed in the form of a broadside, the document includes one of the oldest surviving lecture schedules of the university, listing courses in the Faculty of Theology, the Faculty of Medicine, the Faculty of Law, and the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Philosophy, and Languages, and indicating which courses were for baccalaureate students and masters students separately, and which were joint lectures.
