This black and white photograph is of boxing champion Monte Attell and was published in the United States as a Cabinet Card circa 1915, during the career of Monte Attell as 1909 World lightweight boxing champion. Attell is seen in boxing pose with hair parted, in dark shorts with left extended.

Published circa 1915, six years after Attell was champion. Attell retired from boxing by 1919. (Photograph is also in public domain as it was published in the United States prior to 1923).
