DescriptionLinwood Avenue, Linwood Historic District, Buffalo, New York - 20220316.jpg
English: A March 2022 view northward along Linwood Avenue from just north of the corner of Barker Street places us squarely within the Linwood Historic District of Buffalo, New York. Nominated to the registry of City of Buffalo landmarks in 1978, the district incorporates both Linwood and the upper reaches of Delaware Avenue and contains a high density of substantially intact late 19th- and early-20th century homes representing outstanding examples of a wide range of architectural styles from Gothic to Renaissance, Tudor, Italianate, and Queen Anne. The Baptist Manor Apartments rise in the background at right.
