Object history Das Glas, ein so genannter Spechter, erinnert an die seit dem Hochmittelalter im Gemeindegebiet belegte Glasherstellung. Der Wellenpfahl stellt die geografische Lage des Ortes am Fluss Kahl dar. Die Burg ist dem Wappen der Ulner von Dieburg entnommen, die vom 15. bis zum 17. Jahrhundert im Gemeindegebiet nachweisbar sind. Sie steht stellvertretend für die Adelsfamilien, die im Gemeindegebiet begütert waren wie die Grafen von Rieneck und die Grafen von Schönborn. Die Farbe Rot erinnert an die einstige Zugehörigkeit zum Kurstaat Mainz.
