Русский: Делая снимки микроструктуры разрушенных образцов из титанового сплава, сотрудник института случайно обнаружил удивительную композицию, когда сфокусировал электронный микроскоп на край образца. На заднем плане виден двухсторонний скотч пропитанный углеродом. Скотч применяется для создания хорошего электрического контакта между образцом и подставкой.
