Land and Water area[edit]

I propose following changes to infobox:

1) To automatically add settlement "land area" (Q11081619) if available.

2) To automatically add water area by substracting water area from total area or getting "body of water" (Q15324) value

2.1 - checks whether there's value "body of water" (Q15324) exist,

if true puts the value in infobox

if false ->2.2

2.2 - checks whether both values land area (Q11081619) and whole area (Q16868672) both exist,

if true gets water value by subtracting land area from whole area

if false ->2.3

2.3 - checks whether both values land area (Q11081619) and area_total_km2 (in wikipedia->) both exist,

if true gets water value by subtracting land area from area_total_km2

if false -> doesn't add a value to area_water_km2

Population density[edit]

Should we make a change that population density would be calculated from land area (if such data exists for Wikidata item) not total area? Calculating density per land area is recommended approach by Eurostat (see https://ec.europa.eu/eurostat/databrowser/view/tps00003/default/table?lang=en) and should be used instead of total area if land area is available. Broken area conversion and website URL[edit]

Image map[edit]

I propose adding image_map (p242) from wikidata if it exists for wikidata item. This includes changes in 3 fields: image_map, map_caption, coordinates.

A) If article's wikidata item doesn't have property P242 nothing changes

B) If article's wikidata item has property P242 then image_map(p242) is shown in infobox instead of default map with red point from coordinates field. Geohack link with coordinates are still shown under image and in top right corner of the article. Liinisx (talk) 14:23, 22 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Elevation[edit]

I propose adding elevation from elevation above sea level (P2044) to elevation_m. It will require to fetch value with specific unit (metre (Q11573)), not sure if that is supported by the local module.--Jklamo (talk) 17:01, 25 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
